These rules apply on every Meridian server and in our Discord. If you're unsure whether something is allowed, open a ticket before you do it.
Hacked Clients and Illegal Modifications are defined as something that gives you an advantage over the vanilla player. This includes things like MouseTweaks and Freecam. Use common sense when downloading mods, if you are unsure if something is legal please ask a staff member.
The use of resource packs like X-Ray and ones that will give a heavy advantage over other players are disallowed.
AFK Farming is allowed as long as you are not using a program or glitch to farm for you.
Macroing of any kind is disallowed, which includes AutoClickers or F3+T
Litematica is allowed with Easy-Place but Litematica printer is not allowed.
Minimaps which show players or caves are not allowed. You may use fairplay minimaps, please ask staff if you are unsure if it is allowed.
Vencord and BetterDiscord used in our discords are not allowed.
Any use of alternate accounts is disallowed on Meridian. If you accidentally logon with an alternate account please open a ticket. If you need an account switch open a ticket.
Users playing on the same IP as you must have clearance from staff before playing. Open a ticket and follow directions.
Any use of alternate accounts to evade a punishment of ANY KIND will result in a more serious punishment and could lead to a permanent ban.
Abusing unintentional game mechanics is disallowed and will result in a punishment if you are caught. Anyone who knows about bugs and chooses not to report is seen as a witness and accomplice.
A “Lag Machine” is when a machine creates heavy load on the server or is intended to cause lag for the network. If you create a machine which causes the server to lag it may be subject to removal and you will suffer with the cost of that along with punishments in some cases.
Minor Toxicity is allowed on Meridian and will not be punishable. Consistently towards a targeted group or player will be seen as harassment and treated with a punishment. Major Toxicity will be punished no matter the offence.
This also applies to any threats to harm/telling someone to harm themselves.
Discrimination towards marginalized groups or targeted hate based on someone's Race, Gender Identity, Sexuality, Culture or Disabilities will not be tolerated and will be treated with severe punishment.
Doxxing any player inside or outside the community will result in a Permanent Ban and blacklist from the network.
Advertising through our network is allowed as long as it stays out of our discord channel and in-game chats and as long as it is not mass advertisement. Sending links in chat for discord servers and other communities will result in a mute.
Spamming will result in a small mute depending on the severity.
Even if not specified in the rules, if you are doing things that don't resonate well with the staff and are a negative member of the community we may make the choice to remove you from it.
Impersonating players and/or spreading false/wrong information without proof is against the rules. Any impersonation will result in a punishment no matter if the person you were impersonating consented.
This also applies to player reports.
Please keep it PG inside our network, outside of Meridian you may talk about whatever you want but we are a server which may have children on it, many of which shouldn't be exposed to NSFW Themes. This includes,

Claiming a town/chunk to block someone else from claiming that land is disallowed. Instances of this will be determined by staff.
Snake claims are not allowed. Snake Claiming is when you claim a small line of claims, if you want to design a town around a small line of claims that is allowed but you must receive staff permission. You cannot claim small amounts of land in a land, towns must expand in chunks and pieces, not in awkward lines. Unless this is the only way you can expand.
Towns cannot claim large areas just for the sake of claiming, You may claim large areas and not build on the surface but the town must have a use of some sort.
Griefing in the wilderness is not allowed. The wilderness is seen as server shared land. Since we are an earth server the terrain is not to be defaced in the wilderness. Do not change terrain in wilderness to preserve it for people who might settle there.
One exception to this is if you have a town nearby and you want to make it look nice around your town but please open a ticket for any terraforming outside of town.
Another exception is if you plan to siege a town, you may change the terrain to make it more fun to fight in during a siege but the terrain must stay mostly the same. Flattening entire mountain ranges for a siege is not allowed. If you have questions you may open a ticket.
Any terraforming of terrain inside your claims must be approved by staff, this includes
Spawn Trapping at Town Ports, Nation Spawns and TPA is not allowed. If you get spawn trapped, open up a ticket.
The exception to this is spawning at a siege, if you are going to a siege then you cannot complain if you die because you chose to type the command to go there.
Portal Trapping of any kind is disallowed.
Traps in siegezone are allowed as long as it doesn't abuse any bugs or ruin terrain.
Stealing from claims is not allowed, you may steal from people inside your town as the Mayor unless it has a lock on it. Any breaking of locks unless the player leaves the town or gets datawiped is not allowed. As long as you protect your items you are safe.
Nation Names and Town Names must resemble reasonable valid names. You cannot name your town “Siegebase” or “MyTown”. Use discretion when naming towns. You can open a ticket or dm a staff member to see their opinion on a town name.
Any Usernames and Named Items must obey all of our rules. You cannot have names which discriminate on items or usernames. This also includes NSFW themes. Keep it PG.

All appeals must be handled through the support discord. If you are blacklisted from the support discord and you believe it is false or to inquire about it please message .nuxva on discord.
Kill farming is not allowed. The exception is if you're bad at pvp. If you are fighting and bad at pvp you will not be punished but if you go just to die then you may be removed from the siege.
You are not allowed to participate in sieges if you do not hold the requirements to do so being a soldier rank in one of the friendly nations. You are allowed to be in claims and assist in there but not on the battlefield.

Placing a banner at an unreasonable distance from the ground is not allowed. You cannot place a banner on top of a mountain and argue that it is within the chunks allowed. Banner placement must be reasonable and accessible for both sides. If you cannot do it with the terrain around the town you may flatten land or create a platform that both sides can access.
You cannot utilize towns to block your town from being sieged.
Rules are subject to change at any time. If we deem something as breaking the rules even if not explicitly listed here it will be disallowed. Staff may interpret rules in different ways. If you need assistance please open a ticket especially if you are unsure about a rule or curious if something may be illegal.
